Phoenix First Church of the Nazarene.


What to expect.

Everyone is welcome just as you are, whether casual or more formal.

For families with children, Nursery is available for all children 4
years of age and under in the children's wing. Children 5 years and older are invited to be a part of Mustard Seed Ministries and will be dismissed midway through the service.

The last Sunday of the month is our Family Communion Sunday. Our children will join us for the entire service.

You are welcome to join us for our fellowship breakfast time. Grab
something to eat, a cup of coffee or hot cocoa and be encouraged.

Our morning worship service starts at 10:30 AM. All are invited to
experience the presence of God through meaningful and spirit filled worship. about midway through the service after our scripture reading the children will be dismissed for children’s church.

Wednesday Service.

On Wednesday nights we have discipleship classes available for
children and adults from all ages. Visit our Ministry Page to view all current classes & studies. Our Desire is to see God Transform lives and to Encourage believers to become Passionate followers of Jesus Christ!!

Our Purpose is:

To REACH people for Jesus Christ, to INSTRUCT followers in the ways of God, to equip our people to WORSHIP God, SERVE others and build COMMUNITY through activities for all ages.

What We Believe

God The Creator of all things, who reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Spirit. Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19-20; 2 Corinthians 13:14

Jesus Who is fully God and fully man at the same time, who became like us to bring about our salvation. Matthew 1:20-25, 16:15-16; John 1:1-19

Holy Spirit Who is active in the world, bringing us to salvation. John 14:15-18, 16:7-15; Romans 8:1-17

Bible That it is the Word of God, giving us all we need to know about how to be saved. 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21

Sin We are all sinners by both nature and act and need God's forgiveness and cleansing. Genesis 3; Romans 3:23, 5:12-14, 6:15-21

Righteousness Jesus Christ died on the Cross, and that by trusting in His death we can be restored to a right relation to God. Isaiah 53:5-6; John 3:14-17

Free Will God has enabled us to turn to Him from sin but that He has not forced us to do so. Genesis 2:16-17; John 1:12; Galatians 6:7-8 Repentance Each person must ask for forgiveness, turn away from sin, and trust Jesus Christ to accept him or her. Isaiah 55:6-7; Acts 17:30-31

New Life When we turn from sin and trust in Jesus Christ, the old record of sin is wiped clean, and we are born anew, thus becoming part of the family of God. Acts 13:39; Titus 3:4-7; Galatians 4:4-7

Sanctification After being born again, we need the fullness of God's Spirit in our hearts. When we make a complete commitment to Him, He cleanses our spirit, fills us with His perfect love, and gives us the power to live victoriously. Matthew 3:11, 22:37-40; 1 John 4:17-18

Church The Body of Christ, carrying on His mission through the power of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:12-31; Ephesians 5:25-27

Baptism We urge people to be baptized as Christians. Matthew 26:16-20; Acts 2:37-41

Communion The Lord's Supper. Matthew 26:26-29; 1 Corinthians 11:23-32

Divine Healing God can heal. We pray for healing. We also believe that He can work through medical science. 2 Corinthians 12:7-10; James 5:13-16 Future Glory Jesus Christ is coming again. John 14:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 Everyone will face the judgment of God with its rewards and punishments. Matthew 25:31-46; Revelation 20:11-15


1. Recognize that God pursues you with love and offers salvation.

2. Recognize the sin separates you from God and others.

3. Recognize that Jesus Christ died and rose again for our sins.

4. You must repent and ask God for forgiveness.

5. Place your trust in Christ and receive Him as your Savior.
