Pastor Josh, his wife Tara and their 2 Children James and Kinley joined Phoenix First in July of 2019. He has pastored churches in Missouri and California after earning a bachelors degree from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2004 and an Mdiv from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 2011 and a Doctor of Ministry in 2023. In addition to his calling as pastor he enjoys coffee, woodworking, reading a good theology book, and spending quality time with family and friends. One of his favorite Bible passages is Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight."
