Joey is the Discipleship Pastor at Phoenix First Church, where he leads with a deep passion for Christian education and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus. With a theology degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary, a District Minister’s License on the Arizona District, and a heart set on ordination, Joey feels especially called to teach and embody the life and teachings of Christ. He thrives on creating spaces where others can ask big questions, dig into Scripture, and be transformed by God’s truth. Joey and his wife, Jordyn, are proud parents to two adventurous young boys, John Asher and Samuel, and love making memories together through family outings and movie nights.
